Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking a GIS Analyst to support the Holyoke GIS program. The role involves field data collection across Holyoke using GPS, maintaining GIS databases, and delivering map products for various departments.

Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online is required, with priority given to those experienced with water or municipal infrastructure data. The position emphasizes fieldwork, data QA/QC, and collaboration with engineering teams, while offering comprehensive

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in GIS or related field.
1–3 years GIS experience, preferably in utilities/municipal setting.
Experience digitizing as-builts and editing geodatabases preferred.

Responsibilities

Digitize, edit, and maintain GIS data from as-builts, GPS field data, and red-lined drawings.
Execute daily updates to GIS databases for accurate infrastructure representation.
Conduct GPS-based field data collection using handheld units.
Generate map products and perform spatial analyses for internal departments and projects.
Provide GIS support to departments and train staff as needed.
Adhere to data standards and contribute to QA/QC processes.
Assist with integrating GIS data with other systems.
Walk extended distances to collect field data across the city.
