Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Geology or geological sciences.
  • US Citizen and able to pass background checks for federal agencies (e.g., DoD, DHS, FAA).
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct contaminated site characterization, monitoring, and remediation field assessments.
  • Travel to field sites and meetings by aircraft, motor vehicles, ATVs, or watercraft.
  • Field screening and sampling for contaminants in various media according to SOPs and regulations.
  • Oversee installation and development of borings and monitoring/extraction wells.
  • Classify soils using the USCS.
  • Prepare work plans and field reports and communicate with project managers.
