Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a detail oriented, entry-level Field Geologist or Environmental Scientist to join our Wilmington, DE team. This entry-level, full-time role combines field and office work with a strong emphasis on health and safety and attention to detail.

You’ll support field activities, sampling, and data management while developing professionally in a mentorship-focused environment. Travel to project sites may be required and driving is often needed.

Qualifications

• BA in Environmental Science, Geology or related field.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Field work 50–70% and ability to travel for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Field activities: drilling oversight, soil/groundwater/air sampling.
• Office tasks: data management, reports, work plans, cost estimates, schedules.
• Prepare figure/map/boring logs and assist with technical reports.
