Job summary

Intertek is seeking an Engineering Tech/Field Geologist in Ripon, WI. The role involves on-site observations, sample collection, and geotechnical testing as part of our professional services team.

You will work in the field regularly, attend client meetings, and coordinate with project teams to support civil and environmental projects. The position requires valid licensure and the ability to perform physically demanding fieldwork, lift heavy loads, and work outdoors in varied weather.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License and reliable driving record.
• Ability to communicate effectively in verbal & written form.
• Ability to lift, move, push and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site observations, sample collection, and geotechnical tests.
• Attend client site meetings and communicate with clients and project teams.
• Work in the field regularly and review project plans.
• Be aware of and follow safety practices and policies.
• Manage one or multiple projects simultaneously.
• Adhere to environmental and field safety requirements.
