Job summary

Cat5 Resources LLC is seeking a Field Generator Technician to install, repair and maintain back-up power systems for telecoms, local businesses and emergency services. This on-site role requires hands-on electrical/mechanical work and a strong focus on safety and customer service.

Salary is $25-$35 per hour with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Cat5 Resources LLC is a woman-owned business serving critical infrastructure across the Southern US, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years of generator technician experience.
• Must be at least 23 years old and possess a GED.
• Possess basic electrical knowledge.
• Mechanical background preferred; generator mechanics a plus.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform generator repairs on commercial units and preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose generator issues.
• Keep knowledge updated on various equipment models.
• Evaluate repairs and recommend action.
• Provide excellent customer service and support.
