Cat5 Resources, LLC is seeking a Field Generator Technician to install, repair and perform routine and preventative maintenance on back-up power systems for telecommunications, businesses, and emergency services. The role requires hands-on generator work and a customer‑focused approach.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of generator experience, a GED or HS diploma, basic electrical knowledge, and the ability to lift 50 pounds and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years of generator technician experience.
• Must be at least 23 years old.
• GED or high school diploma required.
• Basic electrical knowledge and mechanical aptitude required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and travel/overnight as needed.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Repair and perform routine maintenance on commercial generators.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose generator issues.
• Maintain knowledge of updates across models of equipment.
• Evaluate and recommend repairs.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
