Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Generator Service Technician to repair electrical generator systems and related engine mechanics in our data centers. You will act as the technical expert and primary customer contact to ensure exceptional service and high data center availability.

You will travel regionally, adhere to safety protocols, document repairs, and communicate priorities to the Generator Service Manager. This role involves lifting up to 40 lbs and wearing PPE as required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to bend or twist into unusual positions while working.
• Ability to handle small wires and objects with hands.
• Ability to walk on uneven job sites and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety protocols and keep a hazard-free work environment.
• Travel within an assigned region to service sites and perform field repairs.
• Document detailed repair operations and record time and expenses.
• Communicate with Generator Service Manager to priorities and issues.
