Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain, operate, and troubleshoot critical data center equipment including diesel generators, switchgear, UPS, PDUs, and cooling systems.

You will work across facilities, travel between sites as needed, and participate in on-call rotations to ensure uptime and safety standards are met. Requires flexible scheduling and hands-on technical skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance.
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
• Travelable and able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Daily building rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment.
• Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Management System (EPMS).
• Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within SLA; perform PM and repairs.
• Assist in rack installs/decommissions and coordinate with contractors on-site.
