Job summary

NC Power Systems in Wenatchee, WA is seeking a Data Center Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain data center generators and industrial engines in the field. The role is 100% in the field with travel to customer sites in the Wenatchee/Quincy area.

Candidates should have 2+ years of generator experience, own tools, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills. We offer a competitive hourly wage and comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Degree in Diesel Technology is preferred.
• 2+ years of generator experience or CAT Industrial engine.
• Must possess your own tools.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Lifting requirements of 30+ pounds.
• Above average communication skills, written & verbal.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and install industrial engines (Including OEM and EPG).
• Maintaining engines and generators at Data Centers.
• Troubleshoot and inspect power generators to make necessary repairs.
• Order parts by using Caterpillar parts ordering system (SIS).
• Communicate with Engineering, customers and other team members.
• Meet administrative requirements to complete paperwork and inspections (including service reports, jobsite specific paperwork, and quality service notes).
• Other duties as assigned.
