Job summary

Harnish Group Inc. in Wenatchee/Quincy, WA is seeking Data Center Technicians to diagnose and maintain generator systems and field-installed engines, with work conducted entirely in the field.

The role requires Diesel Technology knowledge, 2+ years of generator experience, ownership of tools, a valid driver’s license, and strong written and verbal communication. Competitive wages and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in Diesel Technology is preferred.
• 2+ years of generator experience or CAT Industrial engine.
• Must possess your own tools.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Lifting requirements of 30+ pounds.
• Above average communication skills, written & verbal.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and install Industrial engines (Including OEM and EPG).
• Maintain engines and generators at Data Centers.
• Troubleshoot and inspect power generators to make necessary repairs.
• Order parts by using Caterpillar parts ordering system (SIS).
• Communicate with Engineering, customers and other team members.
• Meet administrative requirements to complete paperwork and inspections (including service reports, jobsite specific paperwork, and quality service notes).
• Other duties as assigned.
