Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Generator Service Technician to identify, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical generator systems at data centers.

You will serve as the primary customer contact, ensuring uptime and a positive customer experience while coordinating field service activities. The role requires 2+ years in electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance, willingness to travel, and flexibility to work 24/7 shifts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electrical facilities maintenance.
• 2+ years of mechanical facilities maintenance experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products or higher education in a related field.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, or holidays in a 24/7/365 environment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Travel within an assigned region to designated sites for field service repairs.
• Document detailed descriptions of repair operations and record time and expenses.
• Communicate with the Generator Service Manager to prioritize tasks and respond to customer questions.
• Perform quality repairs of electrical generator systems and related engine mechanical components.

Bachelor's degree
