Job summary

NC Power Systems is seeking Data Center Technicians to diagnose and maintain Data Center generators and installations in EPG and Industrial engines in the Wenatchee/Quincy WA area. The role is 100% in the field.

Candidate must be safety-minded, able to diagnose, repair and install industrial engines, maintain engines and generators at data centers, and order parts using the SIS system. Strong communication and paperwork completion are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Diesel Technology preferred.
• 2+ years of generator experience or CAT Industrial engine.
• Must possess your own tools.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Lifting requirements of 30+ pounds.
• Above average communication skills, written & verbal.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, Repair and Install Industrial engines (Including OEM and EPG).
• Maintaining engines and generators at Data Centers and field sites.
• Troubleshoot and inspect power generators to make necessary repairs.
• Order parts using Caterpillar parts ordering system (SIS).
• Communicate with Engineering, customers and other team members.
• Complete paperwork and inspections (service reports, jobsite paperwork, quality notes).
• Other duties as assigned.
