Job summary

Cat5 Resources, LLC is seeking a Field Generator Technician to install, repair and perform routine and preventative maintenance on back-up power systems for telecoms, local businesses, and emergency services.

The position offers a guaranteed 40 hours per week with overtime available. Candidates must live within 60 miles of the designated location and meet the minimum qualifications described.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years of previous experience.
• Must be at least 23 years old.
• Must have GED High School Diploma.
• Possess basic electrical knowledge.
• Must have mechanical background; generator mechanics a plus.

Responsibilities

• Repair generators and perform preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose generator issues.
• Maintain knowledge of updated equipment models.
• Evaluate and recommend required repairs.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
