Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a General Laborer to join our SUE Services team in Englewood, CO. The role involves working with electromagnetic and geophysical technologies to identify utilities, operating a vacuum excavation truck, and coordinating survey efforts in the field.

Responsibilities include reading utility records, ensuring safety, and collaborating with engineers and utility companies.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years experience with EM and geophysical designate technologies.
• Experience with vacuum excavation preferred.
• Must quickly grasp new technologies.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Willing to work outdoors in various weather.
• Occasional travel, overtime, long walking distances, lifting up to 80 lbs, clean driving record.
• Pre-employment drug screen & random testing.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret utility records, as-built and survey drawings and highway design plans.
• Designate existing utilities using electromagnetic and geophysical technologies.
• Operate vacuum excavation truck and perform test holes to expose utilities.
• Utilize appropriate maintenance of traffic.
• Coordinate survey work in relation with SUE.
• Represent Colliers Engineering & Design in the field and communicate/coordinate with utility companies.
