Job summary

ACRT Pacific is seeking an entry-level Vegetation Management Inspector to patrol utility corridors, identify hazard trees, and prescribe work to maintain compliance with VM standards. The role requires coordinating with crews, clients, and property owners while documenting inspections and ensuring safety procedures are followed.

The VMI will support emergency responses, participate in outage investigations, and assist in field verification of completed work.

Qualifications

• Must meet the general requirements below: High school diploma or GED.
• ISA Certified Arborist preferred; relevant college degree considered.

Responsibilities

• Patrol distribution/transmission circuits and prescribe work to tree contractors to ensure annual clearances.
• Identify required tree work along PG&E rights-of-way and document inspections.
• Notify property owners/agencies about planned tree work and obtain necessary authorizations.
• Coordinate VM tags and field crews; assist in CC&B case closeouts in the field.
• Support emergency response and outage investigations as directed by supervision.
• Maintain electronic and paper-based documentation and reporting.
