ArborMetrics is seeking a Contract Forester/Utility Forester to perform field vegetation management for utility corridors. Responsibilities include patrols, site assessments, and coordinating with landowners while adhering to safety standards.

The role requires practical utility vegetation experience, forestry education, GIS and MS Office knowledge, and strong communication skills. Outdoor work, driving, and independent operation are common.

Competenze

• Practical experience in electric utility vegetation management.
• Knowledge of tree identification.
• Ability to learn new computer applications.

Mansioni

• Organize records, maps, and paperwork for patrol circuits.
• Review work sites for endangered species and habitats.
• Safely patrol energy corridors and identify vegetation for pruning, removal, or protection.
• Classify prescribed work per field conditions and ANSI line clearance standards.
• Conduct Tree Risk Assessments and analyze growth rates.
• Mark vegetation and prescribe clearance actions per client directives.
• Coordinate with landowners, agencies, and organizations to obtain permissions.
• Audit contractor work for compliance with client specifications.
• Investigate tree-related outages and document findings.
• Follow safety protocols and AMS safety practices.
