Job summary

LandVest is seeking an Operations Forester in Ridgway, PA, to perform a mix of field (80%) and office (20%) duties for multiple clients. The role reports to the Pennsylvania Regional Forester and requires developing silvicultural prescriptions, completing sale prep, and ensuring easement compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a forestry degree (SAF accredited), 3–5 years of relevant experience, and strong Excel/Word skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in forestry or related field (SAF accredited).
• 3–5 years of work experience with similar duties.
• Strong computer skills including Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Timber sale administration, including prescription development and sale prep.
• Green certification compliance with company policies.
• Inventory participation, including carbon project inventory.
• Field duties such as reconnaissance, easement compliance, and GPS data collection.
• Office duties including maintenance of records and client reporting.
