Job summary

XKIG is seeking a Foreperson in the United States, Texas, Longview to coordinate crews, equipment, and supplies for contracted vegetation management work. You will lead daily tasks, enforce safety rules, and ensure work is completed to specification.

The role requires prior crew supervision experience, a valid driver's license, and readiness to travel for storm restoration. This is a full-time position with health benefits and a 401K option.

Qualifications

• Must meet qualifications of all positions on a crew.
• Ability to delegate work and take accountability for performance.
• Must read drawings and symbols for lines and equipment.
• Must have and maintain a valid Driver's License.
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Willingness to travel for storm restoration work.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate crew, equipment, tools, and supplies per contract specs.
• Enforce safety practices and rules on site.
• Direct and supervise crew members and assign tasks.
• Plan and execute work safely and professionally.
• Organize job assignments for efficiency.
• Notify property owners and obtain access for work.
• Ensure PPE use and safe practices on site.
• Oversee tree trimming/removal and use of appropriate equipment.
• Load/unload materials and secure equipment on truck.
• Record daily time, equipment, and material usage.
• Inspect work to specifications and confirm completion with customer.
• Perform routine truck checks and maintenance notifications.
