Job summary

XKIG in Texas is seeking a Foreperson to coordinate crews, equipment, and supplies to complete tree-related projects in accordance with contract specifications. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and clear communication with customers.

You will direct daily tasks, plan work, inspect outcomes, maintain records, and support storm restoration when needed. This on-site leadership position requires a valid driver's license and the ability to work outdoors in variable weather; a high school

Qualifications

• Prior experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries preferred
• High School diploma or education equivalent preferred
• Must obtain first-aid certification and CPR
• Must have a Driver’s License and be able to drive a company vehicle
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and travel for storm restoration as needed

Responsibilities

• Coordinate crew members and equipment to complete jobs per contract specifications.
• Direct crew, assign tasks, and supervise performance.
• Plan and execute work safely and professionally.
• Inspect work and notify customer upon completion.
• Maintain time, equipment, and material records.
• Conduct daily truck inspections and required job briefings.
• Restock supplies and perform routine equipment maintenance.
• Travel for storm restoration as needed.
