The position requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, a valid CDL, and willingness to travel for storm work.

Qualifications

• Understanding drawings and symbols for lines, voltages, line equipment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to adapt to field requirements and work with minimal supervision.
• Able to safely drive an approved company vehicle.
• Ability to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Weight restriction: should not exceed approximately 300 pounds.
• No fear of heights; willing to travel for storm work.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after orders are received from a General Foreperson/Line Clearance Supervisor.
• Conducts field training and retraining, instructing crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per company policy and OSHA specifications.
• Discusses issues with property owners and arranges access for work.
• Furnishes reports of orders completed, crew time, and repairs.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and reports related to crew performance.
• Cooperates with customers, police, and fire departments when blocking streets.
