Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Foreperson to drive daily crew operations and ensure adherence to safety protocols. You will coordinate staffing, training, and deadlines while maintaining strong customer relations and reporting on crew performance.

The role requires a CDL, field leadership experience, and the ability to manage field crews, equipment, and safety standards in a dynamic outdoor environment.

Qualifications

• Must understand drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment, etc.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Capable of adjusting to field requirements and taking independent action without close supervision.
• Must be able to safely drive an approved company vehicle.
• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods of time.
• Weight not to exceed 300 pounds and no fear of heights.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving orders.
• Conducts field training/retraining for crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices and conducts safety training.
• Discusses access, power interruption, and work scope with property owners; refers complex cases to supervisor.
• Obtains permission from property owners to perform required work.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and crew-related reports.
• Controls crew costs and evaluates equipment usage.
• Furnishes reports on orders completed and crew performance.
• Cooperates with customers, police, and fire departments when blocking streets.
