Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an Assistant Foreman to lead hands-on project execution, safety compliance, and coordination with project leadership to ensure profitable, on-time delivery of equipment deployments.

The role focuses on mobilization/decommissioning of pumping, power distribution, HVAC and energy systems, with heavy field involvement and travel, delivering reliable service for diverse job sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in mechanics/engineering are a plus.
• Experience with bypass pumping, generators, power distribution, A/C and water restoration equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Willingness to travel up to 90%.

Responsibilities

• Core Project & Operational Support.
• System Mobilization and Decommissioning: setup and tear down of equipment (pumping, power, HVAC, energy systems).
• Emergency and Disaster Response: rapid deployment and resource management.
• Safety and Compliance Leadership: enforce safety policies and best practices.
• Execute with Project Leads to meet timelines and ensure efficient delivery.
