Job summary

Public Service Co. of OK is seeking a Direct Line Technician to support construction, maintenance, operations and retirement of the distribution system. Plan and assign line tasks, promote safety and respond to outages to minimize downtime.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, four years of distribution line experience, Journeyman or General Servicer certification, a valid CDL A, and live within 35 miles of the service location. OT and travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and assign line technician work tasks to ensure timely completion.

• Respond quickly to service interruptions to minimize outage time.
• Promote company products and services during customer interactions.
• Ensure proper use of equipment and tools per guidelines.
• Complete necessary reports accurately and timely.
• Perform similar or less skilled work as assigned.
