Job summary

Conservation Legacy seeks an Ancestral Lands Conservation Corps Program Manager to lead programming and operations for ALCC, including recruitment, field support, and partnerships. The role blends office oversight with field visits, ensuring safety, reporting, and collaboration across regional teams.

This exempt, full-time position requires 3 years’ youth program experience, Indigenous community work, and strong leadership. A flexible, in-person presence with some travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in any area of study.
• Valid CPR and Wilderness First Aid or Wilderness First Responder certification.
• 3 years’ experience working with youth and/or young adults.
• 3 years working within Indigenous communities.
• 3 years’ experience in trail construction & maintenance, chainsaw operation & maintenance, hand tool maintenance, fencing, historic preservation, agriculture, herbicide application, backcountry travel.
• Ability to operate Microsoft Office programs and applications, or similar platforms.
• Ability to keep others and oneself, in remote locations, accountable to expectations.
• Valid Driver’s License and Insurable Driving Record per Personnel Policies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ALCC programs and operations across offices.
• Mentor field staff and ensure safety in office and field environments.
• Develop and manage recruitment and onboarding for participants.
• Maintain partnerships with local and federal partners and manage grant budgets.
