Job summary

Conservation Legacy is seeking an experienced Program Manager for the Ancestral Lands Conservation Corps (ALCC) in Colorado. The role combines office leadership with field-based supervision, overseeing program operations, safety, and reporting across multiple bases, with a focus on youth and Indigenous communities.

The PM will lead recruitment, staff mentorship, policy compliance, grant management, and cross‑team coordination, ensuring high-quality programming and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in any field.
• Valid CPR and Wilderness First Aid or Wilderness First Responder certification.
• 3 years’ experience with youth/young adults.
• 3 years working with indigenous communities.
• 3 years’ experience in trail construction, chainsaw operation, and related field work.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to manage remote field operations.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and select seasonal participants and manage onboarding.
• Supervise staff in the Middle Rio Grande region and mentor field staff.
• Maintain safe work environments and ensure policy compliance.
• Collect and review reporting paperwork and project outcomes.
• Develop and manage program partnerships, grants, and budgets.
• Coordinate administrative tasks including payroll, timesheets, and AmeriCorps records.
• Lead organizational advocacy and collaboration across teams.
