Constellis is seeking a Fire Inspector to ensure buildings and properties comply with fire safety laws and regulations, protecting lives and property. The role involves NFPA-based inspections, training, and compliance activities across office and field environments.

Responsibilities include maintaining vehicles, inspecting facilities, documenting findings, and ensuring extinguishers are serviced. Travel may be required; a valid IFSAC/Pro-Board Fire Inspector II certification and HazMat Awareness

Qualifications

• Must have IFSAC/Pro-Board Fire Inspector II certification and HazMat Awareness.
• GED or High School Diploma.
• Ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Must obtain Public Fire and Life Safety Educator 2 within 12 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance of assigned vehicle.
• Conduct Fire Prevention Inspections following NFPA standards and applicable regulations.
• Collect technical information on buildings/facilities.
• Research fire codes and manuals to determine fire characteristics.
• Shut down operations where violations threaten public safety.
• Conduct fire and life safety training and fire prevention activities.
• Provide fire warden training for installation personnel.
• Document inspection findings in the data management system.
• Track and replace extinguishers as needed.
• Work in office and field environments; travel may be required.
