Johnson Controls is seeking Inspectors to conduct routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance on Electrical and Sprinkler life safety product lines, as well as similar competitive products. You will complete inspection reports with proper code references using laptops or mobile devices, maintain a structured inspection schedule, and input and archive documents.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years documented inspection experience in fire alarm or fire sprinkler.
• Experience reading NFPA 72 chapter 14, NFPA 25, blueprints, sequence of operation matrix, and manuals.
• Experience with hand tools and multi-meter usage.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50–70 lbs.
• Able to work in unusual positions such as ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements.
• Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
