Johnson Controls is seeking inspectors to perform routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance on electrical and sprinkler life safety systems. The role requires reading NFPA codes, blueprints, and operation manuals, plus physical ability to handle ladders and tools.

You will complete reports using laptops or mobile devices, maintain inspection schedules, and archive documents. Training junior staff and accommodating flexible hours are part of the job.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• NICET Level II certification preferred.
• 2-5 years documented inspection experience in fire alarm or fire sprinkler.
• Experience reading NFPA 72, NFPA 25, blueprints, and operation manuals.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance on electrical and sprinkler life safety product lines.
• Complete inspection reports with proper code references using laptops, mobiles, or hard copy.
• Maintain a structured inspection schedule and archive documents.
• Provide technical training to less senior inspectors and trainees.
• Work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet customer requirements.
