Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is seeking a Fire Alarm Inspector to provide reliable on-site maintenance, inspections and preventive services for fire and security systems. Starting pay is based on experience and reflects skill level.

You will perform inspections, test devices, complete paperwork, and communicate with clients and the Central Monitoring Station to ensure compliance and safety. Strong licensing, math skills, and knowledge of fire/electrical codes are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks and drug tests.
• Must obtain specified licenses/certifications to work in security per state rules.
• High School Graduate or GED is required for Per Mar Security Services positions.
• Must be able to travel, as needed.
• Must have mathematical skills including calculating figures and amounts.
• Must know fire and electrical codes to ensure safe installation of alarm systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform fire protection inspections and preventive maintenance on client fire alarm systems.
• Test and verify that all systems and devices function properly per manufacturer specs.
• Complete proper paperwork and submit to the appropriate department daily.
• Communicate with clients, coworkers and Per Mar's Central Monitoring Station.
• All other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
