Job summary

AT&T is seeking a Machine Operator in Marrero, Louisiana to install and maintain buried service wire and fiber/copper services. You will operate tractors/trenchers, perform repairs, and coordinate with customers and utilities while upholding safety standards and delivering high-quality service.

You will work outdoors in all weather, manage multiple machines, and meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 120 pounds and driving manual shift where required.

Qualifications

• Ability to work Monday through Friday with 8-hour shifts.
• Willing to work mandatory overtime and holidays as required.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Able to manage various tools and machines safely.

Responsibilities

• Locate buried facilities along the route and operate company vehicles with trailers and machinery.
• Perform manual excavation and simple repairs to low voltage utilities and sprinkler systems.
• Provide periodic maintenance and non-complex repairs on equipment.
• Follow safety practices and manufacturer specifications for equipment use.
