Hardy Industries is seeking skilled fiber testing and splicing technicians to support our national client base. This role involves OTDR testing, fusion splicing, fault identification, and documentation across varied environments.

Qualifications

• Fiber optic testing and troubleshooting experience required.
• Familiar with OTDRs, power meters, light sources and certification equipment.
• Able to read network diagrams and splice schematics.
• 1 year of Fiber, I.T., or Telecom experience with relevant certifications or 5+ years field experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform fiber optic testing and splicing tasks including fusion and mechanical splicing.
• Conduct OTDR testing, power meter testing, light source testing, and fiber certification.
• Inspect, clean, and remediate connectors; test fiber continuity and fault distance.
• Install, terminate, and test single- and multi-mode cabling; document results.
• Troubleshoot customer-premise and network impairments; maintain records.
• Work independently across retail, medical, restaurant, corporate and data center sites.
