Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• 1–2 years of fiber optic installation, splicing, testing or related telecom construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, place, and secure fiber optic cable in aerial, underground, and indoor environments.
• Perform fusion splicing, connectorization, and enclosure/terminal installation.
• Test and troubleshoot fiber networks using OTDRs, light sources, and power meters.
• Read and interpret route maps, splice matrices, and construction drawings.
• Repair damaged cables and document splice loss, test results, and as-built information.
