Job summary

Conexon is seeking a field-based Maintenance Technician to sustain existing plant and respond to outages. The role involves outdoor work, travel within footprint, and collaboration with the Maintenance Manager to meet project milestones.

Candidates should be able to test and splice fiber, read design maps, and support both on-site and field operations. Overtime and night/weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining telecom or fiber networks.
• Ability to interpret design maps and splicing diagrams.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project schedule to meet client objectives and Conexon revenue objectives.
• Keep up and communicate maintenance milestones and schedules.
• Evaluate and improve maintenance specifications.
• Ensure Maintenance budget for Conexon project success.
