Overview

Seeking hands-on Fiber Optic Technicians to support MTP/MMC connector and trunk repair projects in data centers. This role involves testing, troubleshooting, and repairing fiber infrastructure alongside client engineering teams. This is a travel-heavy, onsite role requiring extended hours and weekend flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform fiber testing using OTDR, scopes, multifiber test sets, and VFL
• Identify faults, signal loss, and failure points
• Conduct root cause analysis and recommend fixes
• Repair fiber systems including MTP/MMC connectors, SOCs (8F/12F), pigtails (12F/24F), LC/SC connectors
• Perform cleaning, routing, bend radius management, and minor corrections
• Support FastTrack repairs and Refurcation as needed

Project Execution & Reporting

• Provide daily updates to site/engineering leads
• Support onsite execution under Field Engineers
• Document troubleshooting, repairs, and progress
• Submit required Customer Notification (CN) data
