Job summary

Uniti Group is seeking a line worker for Kinetic construction and engineering to install, repair, and maintain poles, cables, and conduits across a variety of sites. You will work with aerial and buried lines, test equipment, and safety protocols while supporting weekend and overtime requirements.

Travel up to 50% is expected; the role requires physical stamina, CDL readiness, and ability to pass DOT pre-hire screening, with opportunities to grow in a union-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate construction equipment such as digger derricks, bucket trucks, backhoes, trenchers or cable plows.
• Pole climbing certification.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass DOT pre-hire screening.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain poles and aerial/copper fiber lines.
• Read staking sheets and blueprints, set up customer service connections.
• Operate bucket trucks and climb poles or ladder systems as required.
• String cables, lay underground conduits, and pull lines with appropriate equipment.
• Comply with safety procedures and participate in safety meetings.
• Maintain equipment, record test results, and document field notes.
• Travel to job sites and work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
