Job summary

United Site Services is seeking a Fence Technician in Austin, TX to safely transport, install, and remove temporary fencing at customer job sites, ensuring timely, high-quality service while complying with safety standards.

The role supports onboarding and training of new team members, coordinates with the Fence Helper, and may assist lead responsibilities to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Two years of commercial driving experience required.
• CDL Class C license valid.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspection of tools to ensure safety and proper working condition.
• Check loads to ensure truck has all materials and tools needed.
• Perform pre-shift vehicle inspections and report deficiencies.
• Operate fence vehicle to various work sites.
• Unload materials and install fence panels per specifications; measure and mark locations.
• Coordinate workload of Fence Helper; inspect progress and ensure specifications are met.
• Communicate with site superintendent and supervisor for instructions and changes.
• Record personnel, production and operational data and submit daily.
• Train Fence Helpers on procedures and safety; assist lead technician as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
