Job summary

United Site Services is seeking a Fence Technician to safely transport, install, and remove temporary fencing at customer sites. You will ensure timely service, operate vehicles per safety standards, and support onboarding of new team members to sustain daily operations.

The role emphasizes strong customer focus, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols while maintaining equipment and documenting work activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of commercial driving experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's license (CDL Class C).
• Excellent time management, customer service and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspection of all tools assigned to the truck to ensure safety and proper working condition.
• Check loads to ensure truck has all material and tools needed to complete service tickets.
• Conduct daily pre-shift vehicle inspection and report deficiencies to shop immediately.
• Operate fence vehicle to and from pre-designated work sites.
• Unload fence materials and install fence panels at work site per specifications.
• Coordinate workload and support Fence Helper; inspect progress and equipment.
• Meet with site superintendent to confirm work order and maintain contact with supervisor.
• Record personnel, production and operational data on forms and submit to Fence Manager.
• Train and support Fence Helpers on installation procedures and safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
