Job summary

United Site Services, Inc. is seeking a Fence Technician to safely transport, install, and remove temporary fencing at customer sites. You will ensure timely, high-quality service while operating vehicles per safety standards and training new team members.

The role emphasizes field work, attention to detail, and teamwork in a dynamic environment, with opportunities to support lead technician responsibilities and daily operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of commercial driving experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's license (CDL Class C).
• Excellent time management, customer service and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tools daily to ensure safety and proper working condition.
• Check loads to ensure fence panels, poles, and tools are present for tickets.
• Operate the fence vehicle to and from designated work sites.
• Unload fence materials and install panels at the work site per specifications.
• Coordinate workload and guide Fence Helpers; monitor progress and site safety.
• Meet with site superintendent to confirm work orders and maintain contact for changes.
• Record personnel, production, and operational data and submit daily.
• Train Fence Helpers on installation procedures and safety practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
