Job summary

Palm Beach Tan is seeking a Facilities Technician to perform general maintenance across store locations in the Salt Lake City area. You will travel from home base to sites and support repairs, with training provided for tanning booth equipment.

The role requires 2 years of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with some evenings and weekends required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• 2 years maintenance experience; multi-unit experience preferred.
• Valid driving record; driving record check required.
• Basic understanding of building maintenance systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects.
• Work independently with strong customer service.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and some overtime.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, Project.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide general maintenance to store locations throughout the Salt Lake City area.
• Repair minor plumbing, light ballasts, door knobs, etc.
• Maintain tanning booths and UV-free spray booths (training provided).
• General carpentry including sheetrock repair and painting.
• Coordinate with store operations staff and vendors.
