Job summary

Palm Beach Tan, the leader of indoor tanning with over 600 locations nationwide, is seeking a Facilities Technician serving the Salt Lake City area. You will perform general maintenance across locations, handle minor repairs, maintain tanning booths, and perform basic carpentry.

Travel to sites as needed with training provided for booth maintenance. Ideal candidates have a valid driving record, 2 years in maintenance, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while

Qualifications

• Excellent driving record
• 2 years experience with maintenance and construction
• Basic understanding of building maintenance systems
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Ability to work independently
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and some overtime
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel, Project
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Providing general maintenance to store locations throughout the above mentioned area
• Repairing general items such as minor plumbing, light ballasts, door knobs, etc
• Maintaining tanning booths and UV free spray booths (training provided)
• General carpentry including sheetrock repair, painting
• Working with store operations staff; communicating with store management and vendors
