Job summary

Palm Beach Tan is seeking a Facilities Technician to support stores in the Salt Lake City area. You will perform general maintenance, repair minor plumbing and fixtures, maintain tanning and spray booths (training provided), and handle basic carpentry tasks.

Daily work involves visiting multiple locations, communicating with management and vendors, and ensuring facilities operate smoothly. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work irregular hours as needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years of maintenance and construction experience required.
• Excellent driving record; driving record check required.
• Basic understanding of building maintenance systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects.
• Ability to work independently.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and some overtime based on business needs.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel, Project.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing general maintenance to store locations throughout the area.
• Repairing general items such as minor plumbing, light ballasts, door knobs, etc.
• Maintaining tanning booths and UV free spray booths (training provided).
• General carpentry including sheetrock repair, painting.
• Working with store operations staff; communicating with store management and vendors.
