Job summary

EMCOR Facilities Services is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to deliver effective, efficient services across multiple customer sites in the Arlington area. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and grounds, using carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and HVAC skills as required.

You will create reports, submit timesheets, and use handheld devices to manage work orders and inspections.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or Degree/Certification or equivalent experience in Landscaping, Trades, or Specialty Floor Care preferred.
• Two to five years mechanical experience including electrical, plumbing, carpentry.
• Must possess applicable certifications, licenses, and valid driver's license in good standing.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions including safety policies and procedure manuals; write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to use handheld device and business systems or document management software.

Responsibilities

• Performs minor plumbing maintenance on existing systems and repair work.
• Performs routine painting and carpentry to maintain facilities in like new condition.
• Performs minor electrical maintenance within state law requirements.
• Completes service inspections and asset inspections as needed.
