Job summary

EMCOR Group, Inc. is seeking a field maintenance technician to deliver timely service across multiple customer sites. You will perform mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks, with a company vehicle and tools provided.

You will inspect assets, submit reports via tablet, and collaborate with client teams to meet service requirements. A valid driver’s license and OSHA safety training are required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; trade certifications preferred.
• 2–5 years mechanical experience including electrical, plumbing, carpentry.
• Valid driver’s license; certifications/licenses in scope of trades.
• Ability to read and follow safety policies and procedures.
• Proficient with handheld devices and basic business software.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance and repairs per work orders.
• Performs minor plumbing maintenance, painting, electrical work as needed.
• Completes service and asset inspections.
• Uses tablet/phone to submit work orders, reports, and logs.
• Obtains materials and supplies to complete tasks.
• Maintains timely communications with customers and internal teams.
• Attends weekly safety meetings and safety training.
• Provides estimates for larger projects on-site.
• Completes other duties as assigned; travels between properties daily.
