Job summary

Franklin University in Columbus is seeking a Field Experience Specialist within the College of Education to manage field/internship placements and maintain licensure documentation. You will coordinate with university supervisors, cooperating teachers and district partners to ensure CAEP compliance and successful placements.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, P-12 experience, and the ability to work on a hybrid on-site schedule with some travel.

Qualifications

• Experience working in or with Public and Private P-12 School Organizations.
• Bachelor’s Degree – preferably in education or education administration.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally with faculty, staff and partners.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the placement of field/internship experiences for licensure programs.
• Organize diverse experiences for all licensure programs.
• Maintain accurate field placement data for CAEP and compliance records.
• Support training of university supervisors and cooperating teachers.
• Arrange team meetings and recruit high-quality university supervisors.
• Conduct school visits and foster district partnerships.
• Attend meetings to stay current on policy changes.
