Dentsu, a global lifestyle marketing agency, is seeking an Associate Manager to oversee nightlife and retail engagement programs in market. You will recruit top talent, train staff, manage event data, and ensure compliant, high-quality promotions of wine and spirits.

Office presence is required at Chicago hub with hybrid expectations. The role emphasizes hands-on event execution, staff coordination, and adherence to local laws, with competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in field/promotional marketing.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Promotional experience in Wine and Spirits is preferred.
• Able to effectively source candidates to ensure a match to the position/organization.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Proficiency in MacOS operating system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and manage Educators and Influencers for event execution in market.
• Train staff on brands, programs, consumer engagement, and execution excellence.
• Manage staff pools to support volume and business needs.
• Coordinate POS and warehouse management for local events.
• Ensure proper coordination, kitting, and utilization of POS.
• Enter and review event data in activation platforms and databases.
• Manage staff payroll and expense processes as well as Travel/Entertainment expenses.
• Understand local alcohol laws and promotion-related regulations.
