Asplundh Construction, LLC is seeking an On-site Estimator in Massachusetts. The role provides full-service estimating and support to electric utility customers, including collaboration with cities and highway agencies and utility-initiated projects.

The position is full-time and exempt. It requires 1+ years in electrical or utility fields (associates degree or higher) with strong Excel and GIS skills, and willingness to travel weekly within MA/RI and to Eastern NY.

Qualifikationen

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent customer service and attention to detail.
• Focus on delivering to clients what they need.
• Some OH/UG utility knowledge is helpful.
• Electrical knowledge preferred.
• Ability to work occasional extra hours including weekends.
• Ability to interpret and analyze construction drawings; use locating programs.
• Multitask and manage estimates for multiple projects.

Aufgaben

• Compile unit estimates from start to finish, including full cover sheet and hazard identification.
• Apply design knowledge in the preparation of design products for installation/replacement of power equipment.
• Analyze engineering problems and provide effective resolutions while handling multiple projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams, utility customers, and clients.
• Read and interpret plans and specifications to understand project scope.
• Follow GIS-based standards.
• Cross-reference supporting documentation to identify issues.
• Interface with customers and visit job sites to gather information/data.
• Use GIS documents and Microsoft Office to compile estimates.
