Job summary

KHS is seeking a Technical Trainer to deliver and mentor training on KHS equipment in North America. The role emphasizes practical instruction, developing training materials, and coordinating training projects for customers and field technicians.

The ideal candidate combines strong communication, adult learning skills, and hands-on electrical/mechanical knowledge. Expect travel up to 50% and a professional, safety-focused work environment.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication and comfort presenting to groups.
• Didactical approach with adult learning principles.
• Ability to create and develop training resources for internal and external customers.
• Subject matter expertise on one or more KHS machine groups.

Responsibilities

• Conduct training for customers, KHS employees and international customers on operation, maintenance and electrical aspects of designated KHS equipment.
• Train, mentor and support KHS Field Service Technicians by defining training plans and working with them on select jobs.
• Assist in design of training documents, programs and lesson plans for internal and external customers.
• Support training sales through proactive communication with customers.
• Present information using diverse instructional techniques (role plays, simulations, group work, videos, lectures).
• Prepare concise, accurate Training Reports, Expense Reports and other support documentation.
• Provide management with timely verbal and written reports on training projects.
• Follow KHS policies, maintain professional appearance and conduct.
