Valid8 Financial, Inc. is seeking a Field Equipment Technician for in‑house assembly and in‑field installation and service in Sanford, FL.

This role involves assembling PLCs and HMIs into proprietary systems and traveling to customer sites for installation, testing, and maintenance, with up to 50% travel. We value a strong electronics background with at least 5 years of experience, an AA in electronics, and excellent troubleshooting and customer-facing skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in electronics or a related technical field.
• Associate's Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of low voltage systems used in complex assemblies.
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities with attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and stay overnight when required.
• Excellent communication and customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assemble PLCs and HMIs into proprietary equipment with precision.
• Perform on-site and remote troubleshooting and maintenance during service visits.
• Travel to customer sites to install, test, and commission equipment (up to 50%).
• Maintain records of assembly processes and service activities.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve assembly processes.
