Job summary

Advanced Electronic Services Inc. TN1 is seeking a Field Service Technician to support customers with assembly, installation, commissioning and testing of industrial systems.

The role involves installing and repairing electrical and electronic equipment, including PLCs, VFDs, panels, and power supplies, and performing on-site evaluations and adjustments. The ideal candidate has a two-year electronics degree, strong troubleshooting skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Requires a two-year degree in electronics or related technical discipline or equivalent
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Experience with test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, Huntron, IC programmers or test fixtures) recommended

Responsibilities

• Assembly, installation, commissioning, and testing of industrial control systems
• Perform repairs and on-site modifications at customer facilities
• Programs and repairs variable frequency drives (VFDs)
• Conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair electronic equipment on customer sites
• Replace defective parts on-site to minimize equipment downtime
• Document field service activities in company systems
