Job summary

Rust Constructors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Equipment Operator based in Guthrie, Kentucky to support field work for the City of Guthrie Interim Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion project.

The Operator Journeyman will operate light, medium and heavy equipment, coordinate actions with crew signals, and perform routine maintenance while ensuring safety and compliance with project specifications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in related craft.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Pass pre-employment Substance Abuse and Criminal Background screening.
• Safety-sensitive position.

Responsibilities

• Operate light, medium and heavy equipment as directed by supervisor.
• Coordinate machine actions with crew signals and site activities.
• Read gauges and understand equipment results.
• Perform routine maintenance and daily servicing of equipment.
• Load and move dirt, rocks, and other materials using appropriate machinery.
• Drive equipment with blades to level earth and terrain.
